We cut these from light wood and finish them in warm gingerbread brown with white piped detail. The set runs through the classic shapes: gingerbread figures, a house, a snowman, snowflakes, a stocking, a star, a candy cane, a bell, a heart, a reindeer and a tree. Each piece is drilled at the top and comes with its own hanging string.
White piping runs over the brown face of every shape, the way iced gingerbread looks coming off a cooling rack. The set covers gingerbread figures, a house, a snowman, snowflakes, a stocking, a star, a candy cane, a bell, a heart, a reindeer and a tree.
Each piece is drilled at the top and comes with its own hanging string, so there is no hunting for ribbon or hooks. Wood keeps the weight down, so these ride thin outer branches that would bend under glass.
The backs are left as plain wood, which gives you a surface for a year or a name. Sanded edges mean they pack flat, and dry storage keeps the painted faces from lifting.
